The ACRBR would like to welcome you to our first Science Week held at Swinburne University in October 2007. Science Week is an initiative that has been developed to improve understanding of radio communications technology, particularly in relation to its impact on human health. Radio communication technology includes mobile phones and mobile phone base stations (“towers”).
A key initiative of Science Week was to film the event and make it publicly available online. We invite you to browse the Science Week program and view the presentations at your leisure including a live experiment testing whether mobile phones can cook an egg.
You are welcome to submit further questions to
info@acrbr.org, and copies of the Science Week DVD will be available in early 2008.
